Accessibility statement

Our target

This website is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We test against those criteria as part of our release process and welcome reports of any barrier you encounter.

What we have implemented

• semantic HTML landmarks and a skip-to-content link on every page;
• visible keyboard focus indicators throughout, with no focus traps;
• colour contrast checked against the Level AA thresholds;
• form controls with programmatically associated labels and error messages;
• text alternatives for meaningful images and hidden decorative graphics;
• respect for the operating system “reduce motion” preference, which disables animation; and
• responsive layouts tested from small mobile widths upwards.

Known limitations

The industrial illustrations on this site are decorative vector graphics. Where they convey meaning, the surrounding text describes it, but a future photography update will require the alternative text to be reviewed.
